This part-time 12-week course is for anyone aged 19 and over with an interest in a business administration role. You will develop a competitive knowledge about this sector which can help you start a new career or progress within a current role. Delivered via distance learning this is a flexible way to study whilst balancing your work/life commitments.


IT Qualification – CompTIA A+

This course is aimed at anyone wanting to launch their IT career with A+ certification. The qualification is held by over a million IT professionals worldwide, and is the most essential IT certification for establishing an IT career. If you’re new to the IT industry, this will help boost your chances of finding employment. And if you’re already an IT professional, the CompTIA A+ certification validates your skills and can improve your career options.


Customer Service for Health and Social Care Settings NCFE Certificate level 2

This is a distance learning course for people aged 19 and over that covers customer service within the health and social care sector. The qualification explores how to ensure good service, including everything from communication to understanding specific needs.


Emergency First Aid level 3

The objective of this qualification is to help you to become emergency first aiders in the workplace. This is a short course, usually completed as a one day course. The qualification lasts for three years, after which you will need to attend a refresh course.


Equality and Diversity Certificate level 2

This part-time distance learning course is suitable for all adult learners. The course looks at how to support principles of equality and diversity within work settings, the community and in a social setting.


Food Safety Award level 2

This qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering. It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including health and social care workers, pest-control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, and laundry and delivery personnel.

Health and Safety Award level 1

You will achieve a nationally-recognised qualification in health and safety with this 6-hour course.


E-Learning and Digital Technology Award level 3

There is now an increased focus on the effective use of e-learning and digital technology to enhance learning. This part-time course is designed for tutors to raise awareness of and to develop your practical skills with regards to using a range of technologies to support learning.



This course will introduce you to the coding languages HTML5 and CSS3. At the end of this course you will be able to develop responsive web applications. This course is also suitable for teachers wishing to introduce coding into the curriculum.


Team Leading Certificate level 2

This is a distance learning course for people aged 19 and over. It will develop and improve your practical skills in order to become a successful team leader, whether you are hoping to progress to a team leading role in the future, or want more knowledge about how to progress in a current position.
